PORTA-BOTE INTRODUCES ITS FIRST NEW BOAT IN 15 YEARS AT THE 2004 HOUSTON SUMMER BOAT SHOW
On the anniversary of 30 years of continuous production, Porta-Bote International has unveiled a new size high-performance folding boat - the new 14 Foot Porta-Bote eXxstream. The hull folds to an incredible 4 inches flat and weighs only 96 pounds, about half the weight of a comparable aluminum or fiberglass hull. The new model is available in the traditional Porta-Bote colors of Pacific Pearl, Aluminum and Olive Drab, has 4 seats and is rated for 5 persons. It will hold a total weight of 807 pounds and sports a new novel lightweight structural plastic transom.
The internationally patented Porta-Bote is still available in the Genesis Series 8', 10' and 12' models with hulls weighing in at 49, 59 and 69 pounds, respectively. All Porta-Botes can be opened in just a few minutes, weigh half as much as comparable aluminum boats and fits easily on most vehicles. The tough hulls carry a 10 year limited warranty by the manufacturer, never need painting and are unaffected by saltwater, fuel and even battery acid.
Naturally, Porta-Botes are ideal for the boating enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting and sailing but lacks the space to store ordinary boats. In addition to being used as an owner's main craft, Porta-Botes make excellent ship-to-shore dinghies since they take up so little space on board sailboats and cabin cruisers.
Don't miss the chance to see the new Porta-Bote eXxstream at the 2004 Houston Summer Boat Show at the Reliant Center, July 28 - August 1.
